This past summer marked fifty-years of marriage for Roy and Connie Mobley. Their daughter, Paige, knew she had to celebrate this Golden Anniversary in a big way to honor her parents' love and commitment to each other and the beautiful life they had created together. She also knew that there was no better place to celebrate this milestone than in New Orleans. The smell of fragrant gardenias wafted into the crisp, summer air of charming downtown New Orleans as guests entered Arnaud's iconic Creole Cottage. The golden escort card holders, metallic trim on the three-tiered cake, and the elegant place setting were all details used to subtly remind the guests of the momentous occasion. After the four course meal, which was a collaborative effort between the head chef, a sommelier, and Paige, guests spent the remainder of the night catching up with old friends, as well as making new ones, all to the sound of New Orleans smooth jazz.
